Dance class at Catherine’s has been so much fun this year. As much as I already loved dance, it got even better when my best bud, Jordan started taking with me! We worked so hard & were not planning to do a recital this year, but when a few of us girls expressed how sad that made us… Ms. Catherine decided to throw together a quick dance review & boy am I glad she did. We did 2 dances… an acrobat routine and a tap routine. We didn’t have time to order costumes, so our mommies put together some cute little getups using simple stuff.
The biggest surprise of all, was when a few of our moms (mine included) did a tap dance that they’d been practicing. My mommy took dance from Ms. Catherine for a long time when she was little & several of the other mommies did, too. It was fun to get to watch them on stage. Unfortunately, daddy was so busy recording mommy on his phone, he didn’t capture any photos of her during her routine. I don’t think she minds, though :o)
It was another fantastic year at dance… I already cannot wait ‘til August, so that we can start again!
