Look what my lovely little sis decided to do with the bag o’ straws she found in mom’s bottom drawer… perhaps not the best use I can think of for about one hundred straws, but it made for some silly photos…

san antone… shamu & the alamo

We made a couple of trips to San Antonio last month… and I am just getting around to posting photos of our adventures. The first weekend, we made the trip for a skeet shooting meet that daddy & popi shot in. We stayed in a fun little hotel with a great pool. The next weekend, we headed back to San Antonio for the Texas Dental Meeting. We stayed on the River Walk & made a stop at the Alamo one day during our stay. We had a wonderful meal with the hygienists from the office & even took a carriage ride one evening. We topped off our roadtrips with a stop at Sea World on our way home. I was feeling a little a lot under the weather, so our sea world visit could have been better… but despite an ugly cold, I did have a little bit of fun watching Shamu, the penguins & the sea lions. We’ll have to go back sometime when I can give those sea creatures a run for their money. Here are a few pictures from our roadtrips…
