for the love of dance

I’ve been practicing for several months now to show off my ballet & tap skills on stage and last week I finally got my chance.  After lots of practice in the studio & a couple of rehearsals on stage… it was time to boogie down for all of our families.  Mom even did my hair & make-up like a real ballerina.  My first dance was ballet; we wore beautiful yellow and black tutus and danced with our bears.  Notice that I’ve been working on my toe point & arabesques A BUNCH :o).  After showing our sweet sides, we took the stage in our neon ‘n’ leopard for our tap number.  It was my favorite by far, because we got to do a lot of shakin’ our tooshies.  I suppose my family was super proud, because I got a JUMBO bunch of flowers to show for my performance.  All of my hard work paid off…. success!

happiness in the h2o with mi amigos

During the last week of school, we had a water day filled with water balloons, baby pools, & parachute fun.  It was sad to tell all of my friends goodbye, but at least we ended with a BANG!  Later that week, we borrowed kk & doodah’s waterslide and invited a few friends over to swim.  Mom made smoothies & we had a blast.  Enjoy the photos!
