So... with Easter just around the corner, we've been doing lots of stuff with bunnies 'n' eggs. Just yesterday, we made some yummy mini lemon cakes for my class Easter party today. It made a bajillion, so we took some to several different places, too!
We also had some of my friends over on Monday to color eggs... the 5 of us (with some help from CheyLee) were able to color about 3 dozen eggies. We used dye, crayons, markers, stickers, & all kinds of goodies to make them b-e-a-utiful!
You might also notice that we let the bean try a purple bunny PEEP for the first time last week. Her first encounter with the sugary, squishy goodness proved that she is a little kooky... that's right... she didn't like the peep!?!? What kind of one year old does not like peeps??? .... We were a little shocked, but you will also notice in the second set of Ardynn/Peeps pictures - that when we tried a second time... she came to her senses & scarfed it down, the way any normal toddler should!
The other photos are a hodgepodge of the past couple of weeks. We celebrated Uncle Bryan's birthday with a bonfire of a birthday cake. It was great to visit with him & Caroline on his big day! There are also a few of me sporting mommy's heels... and a few of Ardynn climbing in and out of her favorite rocking chair at Gingi's house... and a few of me & my baby sis in mommy's bed just before bedtime.
We are having a blast while gearing up for the big hunts this weekend... stay tuned for more springy photos as we celebrate with our family. Also... please join us in praying for rain in Texas - - there are some nasty fires burning all around us & we could use some major moisture to help with fighting the flames!! ... Blessings to you all & Happy Easter as you celebrate Jesus this weekend.... hallelujah!!!
