a fitting combo for halloween

IMG_9654It’s no secret that our goofy bean is a little bit of a jokster.  It’s not often that she’s anything but smiley ‘n’ happy.  So, when mom was picking a costume idea for her… notIMG_9658hing seemed to be more fitting than a cutsie clown costume.  I, on the other hand, knew that I wanted a “bubble guppy costume” (aka: mermaid) back in the middle of summer!  They tell me that I’m a little bit prissy & sassy… so I guess a girly, sparkly costume was also a good fit for yours truly!?  Mommy made both of our costumes (with a little help from Gingi on my skirt) and we got to wear them several times… to school & to a birthday party, to a halloween party, & once more for the big day.

On Halloween night, per the norm, we had hundreds & hundreds of trick-or-treaters on our street.  In lieu of going on our own candy hunt, Ardy & I both thought it was a good idea to hang out at home & pass out candy… so that’s what we did!  Ardynn loved to check out each costume & decide whether or not it deserved candy or not.  The sweet, cute costumes passed her test, but if was a scary costume… she’d turn away & make KK give out the goodies.

Hope your Halloween was as fun as ours :o)
