I guess the American Idol tryout shows have rubbed off on me, because I am quite the little songbird these days. But I must say... I think I just might make it to Hollywood (on looks alone, don't ya think?!) The Happy Birthday Song has been one of my favorites for a while now, but lately... the Alphabet Song has been at the top of my list. I can hardly take a nap or go to sleep at night without my mom attempting to sing it to me (sometimes more than once). She certainly would not be on her way to Hollywood, but I like it when she sings, anyway ;o)
So.... I am not an exact pro at the entire alphabet, but I usually get about 1/2 of the letters, unless mom & dad prompt me. When I'm belting it out by myself, it usually goes something like this.... "A, B, C, D, E, G, G, L, M, N, O, P, Q, S, X, Y, Z, Z". Mom has gotten several videos of my singing, but because our home computer is out of commission (aka: covered by plastic in the middle of our dining room)... she does not have access to the video uploading/editing software. So... she decided to try to get a couple of me on the regular camera. The sound is probably not as good, but perhaps you can hear enough to make out part of the Alphabet Song. This attempt was just before bedtime, so I was not at my best.... but it's all we've got at this point.... so enjoy it!
I have also been attempting to count lately, too... I forget a few numbers, and as you'll see... 2 is still my very favorite number, but usually my attempts to get to TEN go something like... "2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 2, 10" .... haha! I would not call myself a genius, but I can tell that even me trying these little ditties makes my mommy & daddy so proud... I guess I'm growing up.
The included photos are just a few of the ones mom has taken lately... I thought I'd show off my ponytail... it's not much, but it is there!!
