1st big boo boo

I suppose it was bound to happen at some point, but needless to say - I have not been looking forward to it! I crashed & burned into the end table last night while standing. It made a pretty good goose-egg & I cried for a few seconds, but I forgot pretty quickly.

Until this morning, that is.... when I woke up with an assortment of black 'n' blue colors on my forehead. It really stinks, too, because I have a wedding to attend this weekend in Knoxville... a girl's worst nightmare, eh? Oh well... I am sure it's one of many bumps and bruises. I heard mom mention that she'd try to cover it up with one of her big bows :o)... ha ha! Good luck, mom... I placed this one smack over my right eye... you'll need to make one BIG bow!

As you'll see in the videos, though, it has not really slowed me down... I was moving around & talking up a storm tonight!

modeling is tough work

Mom & dad took me to have my picture taken today. Whew - modeling is tough work, but I guess someone has to do it. I mean seriously - they don't take enough pictures of me on a day to day basis, so thank goodness - now there will at least be a few pictures for posterity :o) ha!

Honestly - it was quite humorous. Every man, lady, and dog at the studio was dancing around and acting like a drunk clown, trying to get me to smile. To be quite honest, I was not really in the mood today. I gave them a few grins occasionally, just to keep them off of my back, but for the most part... I just flashed them the looks they deserved - those of a confused, scared, & shocked 7 month old. What a bunch of weirdos!

Well... I have not been offered a job yet, but if anyone has any hook ups with Gerber or Fisher Price... send em' my way! Ha Ha... just kidding, but enjoy just a FEW of the pictures we got today!

happy 7 months, mia!

I would like to give a shout-out to my bestest bud, Mia. Yesterday was her 7 month birthday and I completly forgot to wish her a good one when I saw her at church - shame on me! .... hope it was great, girlfriend!!!

So can you believe it?... we made yet another road trip this week. My nutzo parents took me to Atlanta. Well - it was worth another car ride, because I got to visit the place where they make blabla dolls. Do you remember my favorite mermaid that I love so much???... well, she is made by blabla. At the store, there were all kinds of soft, cuddly creatures - I loved them all & would kick my legs & scream when they let me hold them. I talked daddy into buying me 2 extra mermaids (backup for a rainy day) & a new froggy doll, too! You can see my new froggy in the pictures. I had just gotten out of the bathtub at the hotel, and was wrapped up in my towel on the bed. Oh - and I must add... anyone who might possibly be looking for a gift idea for Christmas or my birthday, need look no further than http://www.blablakids.com/. he he!... just a hint, grandparents :o).

We also went to the Georgia Aquarium (the largest in the world), where I saw all kinds of cool fishies! I was pretty interested for the 1st couple of hours or so... I saw sea lions, penguins, & beluga whales. It got a little boring after a while, so I took a little nap in my stroller for the last leg of our aquarium visit. Take a look at the pictures - it was tough for mom to get good shots, as the fish don't stand still - and for that matter, neither do I - ha! We also did some shopping & ate at great places in Hotlana. All in all, it was a fun trip & I can check off another state on my list. Do I make a cute Georgia Peach, or what?

a busy, busy day!

Good Grief... I don't even know where to begin - it's been another big day for me.

First of all... mom's been trying to get a good picture of my chompers for a couple of days now. Today - I finally hammed it up enough & gave her a big smile. In the picture to the left, you can see that my daddy & my popi have a new patient... if you look closely, you'll notice my 2 brand new pearly whites poking through on the bottom! (you can also click on the picture to get a close up). I suppose it's time to start brushing & flossing, eh?

Ok - so now for the good stuff. Mom & dad took me for yet another walk this evening. We go on walks all of the time, however... this time, we walked near a park.... and did you know, they have these fantastic things called SWINGS! I don't think they had planned on letting me go for a ride, but thank goodness they did. I had a BLAST! They did have the regular camera, but unfortunately did not have the video camera... Bummer! However - they did try to take a GHETTO video with their regular camera. It's sideways & a little grainy, but you can still check it out. They did not get the part where I was laughing & kicking like crazy, but you can still tell that I was absolutely LOVING the swings. We need to go back there really soon!



When we got home from walking, I ate dinner & then my daddy decided I needed a bath (especially since I soaked up all of the germy wormies on the swing set at the park- ha!) So - he got me undressed & put me into my crib, so that he could run my bath water. I suppose he figured that I'd be safest in the crib, since I'm crawling around like a mad woman these days. Little did he know... I had another surprise in store for him! He came back into my room to get me, and I was STANDING UP in my crib. Ha! Although I was naked... of course, they could not resist taking pictures. So - you can see me standing up in my crib. Mom tried to get an angle where not all of my parts were visible. So - not only am I crawling now... I'm pulling myself up, too! Gosh things are getting crazy around here!

In addition to all of this madness, mom also thought it would be a good idea to do a photo shoot earlier today, so just for kicks... I included a few of the pictures she got. Enjoy!
